Prayer for Earth Day

Dear Mother Gaia, Pachamama, Earth,

You are my beautiful lady and I know and feel Your tender embrace. There is no other more lovely than You. With your magnificent colors, bold forms, moving waters, and changing seasons. I Love You with all my heart and soul.

When I lay upon Your belly I feel Your energy move through me and I know Your Love. When I swim in yours waters, I feel Your arms hold me in the most loving way and I melt into Your Love.

Thank you Mother. Thank You for giving us this place we can call home. Thank You for showing Your love through the vibrant greens that burst forth and the luscious fruits your children offer us in abundance. Thank You for loving us, mere foolish humans, despite the harm and pain we inflict upon You and Your children. Thank You for your patience with us and offering us a constant example of true, unconditional LOVE.

I pray that this day the calendar offers to honor and remember You is only the beginning of awareness and honor that my race will engage in. I pray that we will remember You daily, remember that we truly are Your Children, that You are the One who gives life and without You there is none. Let us remember our Oneness with You and each other, coming together in true Self Love and restore the paradise that is Gaia, Earth.
